Long after the fanfare of the on-field celebration ended, the standout quarterback walked around a near-empty Rose Bowl Stadium and explored the end zone.
After reaching the middle of the Crimson Red Alabama end zone, the junior signal-caller crouched down on top of the Maize and Blue Michigan confetti taking in every moment of the thrilling victory.
McCarthy, who was tabbed as the best quarterback in program history by coach Jim Harbaugh, is relishing Big Blue's epic 2023 campaign that can potentially be capped with a national championship with a win over No. 2 Washington next week.
