Cameras Caught J.J. McCarthy Soaking in Win Over Bama in Near-Empty Stadium

The Michigan Wolverines (14-0) will face off with the Washington Huskies (14-0) in the College Football Playoff national title game at NRG Stadium on Jan. 8.
In this story:

J.J. McCarthy, a player known for his pregame mediation, was caught by cameras soaking in every bit of Michigan’s come-from-behind overtime Rose Bowl win over Alabama long after the final whistle.

Long after the fanfare of the on-field celebration ended, the standout quarterback walked around a near-empty Rose Bowl Stadium and explored the end zone.

After reaching the middle of the Crimson Red Alabama end zone, the junior signal-caller crouched down on top of the Maize and Blue Michigan confetti taking in every moment of the thrilling victory.
