FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Without Taliah Scott (back injury), the leading scorer for Arkansas, Makayla Daniels scored 18 of her 24 points in the first half en route to an 83-43 wire-to-wire win over Georgia. The Razorbacks won just its seventh game against the Bulldogs in 45 meetings.

Coming off a 0-for-15 start from deep against Kentucky, Daniels made two early threes to make sure the Razorbacks didn't start cold again and scored the first nine points for Arkansas as the Hogs caught fire from deep, finishing the game 14-for-34 from deep.

Carly Keats earned her first start due to Scott's injury and scored 10 points of her own in the first half including two triples.

The Hogs dominated every facet of the first half to tally up a dominant first half 49-18. Georgia was held to 23% from the floor and attempted just two free throws compared to Arkansas' 16 in the first 20 minutes. The Hogs also punished the Bulldogs for every mistake shooting 77% from the charity stripe (17-for-22).

Saylor Poffenbarger made three threes in the third quarter to squash any hope of a miracle Georgia comeback as part of her third double-double of the year. She finished with 15 points and 17 rebounds

The Razorbacks will continue SEC play against Mississippi State at home 8 p.m. Jan. 11. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network and FuboTV.
