Indiana Football Offers 2025 Offensive Lineman from Carmel High School

Indiana football has offered a scholarship to an offensive lineman from Carmel High School in the class of 2025, Evan Parker. He is the second offensive lineman from an Indiana high school that coach Tom Allen and the Hoosiers have offered this week.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Coach Tom Allen and the Indiana football team have offered a scholarship to Evan Parker, an offensive lineman from Carmel High School in the class of 2025.

Parker announced the offer on Twitter this Thursday, following a visit to IU last weekend.

Similar to Cameron Gorin, the Hamilton Southeastern offensive lineman that Allen and IU offered this week, Parker does not currently have a star-rating on recruiting websites such as 247 Sports. This is fairly common for recruits this far out from potential commitment dates, as both Parker and Gorin are juniors in high school.

Indiana is now just one of four schools to have offered Parker, according to 247 Sports. Prior to the Hoosiers, the 6-foot-4, 304-pound lineman from Carmel, Ind., also received offers from Ball State, Central Michigan and Austin Peay.

Parker does have a Hudl page where he hosts all of his high school football highlights. He also lists himself as playing the guard position on these pages.

Allen and the Indiana Hoosiers do not yet have any football commits in the class of 2025. Though, once again, that is far from unusual. Most college football teams do not have 2025 commits as of yet, and are more focused on rounding out their 2024 recruiting classes.

But IU is the first Power 5 school to offer Parker, and clearly the Hoosiers have a focus on targeting offensive lineman from Indiana High Schools in the class of 2025. Two offers to two lineman from two prominent schools in the state in HSE and Carmel is hard to deny. Don't be surprised if you see Parker lining up at guard in Bloomington just a couple of years from now.
