How To Watch Indiana Soccer At No. 7 Virginia

Following an overtime win at No. 10 Wake Forest, the Hoosiers advanced to their ninth straight Sweet 16 and will play at No. 7 Virginia on Sunday. The winner will play Western Michigan or No. 2 Notre Dame in the lower right quadrant of the bracket.

Indiana soccer will play at No. 7 seed Virginia on Sunday, the program’s ninth consecutive Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Hoosiers beat Lipscomb 2-1 at home in the Round of 48, and bested No. 10 Wake Forest 3-2 in the Round of 32 last Sunday with Hugo Bacharach’s two goals.

Indiana and Virginia are college soccer bluebloods. The Hoosiers have eight national titles, and the Cavaliers have seven. Indiana has won seven straight matches and 11 of the past 12. Virginia hasn’t lost since Sept. 22 and is 10-1-2 at home this season. Sunday will mark the first meeting between the two programs since 2000, an Indiana 2-1 victory.
