How to Watch: Missouri Baseball at Kansas

The Tigers hit the road for a five-game roadtrip starting and ending with their Rival Jayhawks.

Missouri is coming off back-to-back run-rule games heading into their trip to Lawrence, Kansas.

The Tigers weren't able to get the series win against Purdue Fort Wayne, dropping the first two games of the series 9-7. But, Missouri came back in the last two games of the series to outscore the Mastodons 31-3.

On the mound for the mid-week game is Daniel Wissler, who is coming off a strong outing against Lindenwood. Wissler went a career high five innings, striking out five. For the Jayhawks, Evan Shaw is their starter. Shaw will be appearing in back-to-back games for Kansas, as he went 2/3 of an inning in their loss to TCU on Sunday, March 10. This game will be Shaw's first start of the season.

Missouri head coach Kerrick Jackson knows the importance of this game for the Tiger community and has stressed it to his players. He told the players that don't yet understand the rivalry, to respect those who it means everything to.

"This game and when we play them again are going to be the most important games for [the alums and some players]," Jackson said. "[I told them] 'So be respectful and honor that and go out to do your best and kick it up another notch' to make sure that we understand what that means."

The Tigers will take the field at 6 p.m. CT in Lawrence to try to continue their two-game win streak.
