The Nebraska football staff has been targeting many players from the 2026 and 2027 recruiting classes. It is important to keep in contact with these underclassmen if eligible under the NCAA guidelines as the program looks to build its future classes.

Brandon Arrington is a 2026 athlete from Mount Miguel High School in Spring Valley, California. The 6-foot, 180-pound wide receiver and cornerback holds offers from Nebraska, Washington, Alabama and other schools as he continues to raise awareness on the recruiting trail.

After receiving his offer from the Huskers, Arrington spoke with HuskerMax to detail what that meant to him.

“I was excited when I got the Nebraska offer because I hear a lot of history of Nebraska,” Arrington said.

He isn’t only a football player also an elite track participant as he clocked 10.58 seconds in the 100 meters and 21.29 seconds in the 200 meters as a freshman last spring.

“Nebraska has a good football program and track program, which is good for me because I am a track and football guy!”

“I have a good bond with Coach (Tony) White, the defensive coordinator. He shows love and tells me about development.”

The talented 2026 prospect also had a few key notes to point out when considering the future.

“I plan to visit during spring. It looks like a good area. I would love to see the campus in person. Nebraska is one of my top schools right now.”

Nebraska will likely continue to push hard for the 2026 athlete as his recruitment proceeds.
