Douglas County High School product Jordan Carter is one of just a few edge rushers in the 2026 class who have already received an offer from Shane Beamer and South Carolina, but are the Gamecocks out of the running with the 4th best edge rusher (per 247Sports) out of Douglasville, Georgia? After speaking Jordan Carter at the Under Armor camp Sunday, he said. "I like South Carolina, but we just don't talk like that," he said.

It's important to remember, however, that Carter is still a rising junior who has one more year before things get real in his recruitment, and we all know that in today's age, things can can happen all the way up to finish line and even beyond that with the transfer portal.

Jordan Carter's Performance At Under Armor Camp (Atlanta)

"Hard to ignore" is the phrase that easily describe Carters performance this past weekend. Checking all boxes, passing the eye test, looking explosive in technical drills, and most importantly, winning countless one-on-one reps. Carter specifically won multiple reps against fellow 2026 prospect and three-star Arkansas commit, Bear McWhorther

Not being denied, Carter was awarded with the defensive linemen MVP award at the camp. It has also been made public knowledge that Jordan Carter has aspirations of obtaining 25 sacks and 100 tackles in his junior season. Last year Carter had 84 total tackles and 14 tackles for loss, per Max Preps; sacks were not listed. Carter has over 25 total offers to this point.
