Utah WBB Ranked #20 in Latest AP Top 25 Poll

The NCAA Women's Basketball AP Top 25 poll has been revealed and the Utes currently occupy the 20th spot on the list.

Utah joins five of their conference opponents on the list with Oregon State ranked #17, USC ranked #10, UCLA ranked #9, Stanford ranked #6, and Colorado ranked #4. Future Big 12 conference opponents West Virginia, Baylor, and Kansas State also occupy spots on the poll with the Mountaineers ranked #22, the Bears ranked #18, and the Wildcats ranked #8.

On the season, the Utes possess a 17-6 overall record while sitting 4th in the Pac-12 with a 7-4 record, two games behind Stanford and Colorado for the top spot.

On offense, Alissa Pili leads the team in points per game with 22.4, Ines Vieira leads the team in assists per game with 6.2, and Pili leads in fg% shooting 59.3% from the field.

On defense, Jenna Johnson leads the team in rebounds with 6.2 boards per game, Vieira leads the team in steals per game with 2.8, and Pili leads in blocks per game with 1.

While this season hasn't lived up to the pre-season hype from the press and fans alike, the squad will surely use this latest AP poll as bulletin board material for the rest of the season as they push to prove they belong in the premier program conversation.

Next up for the Utes is some Pac-12 action at the Huntsman as the Oregon State Beavers come to town on February, 9th.
