The College Football Playoff field was set on Sunday, and to no one’s surprise, the top four teams playing for the sport’s ultimate prize will be: LSU, Ohio State, Clemson and Oklahoma. SI senior writer Pat Forde says the committee got it right, especially in regard to rewarding LSU’s quality of victories to rank them No. 1. With three heavyweight unbeaten teams and a dangerous underdog in Oklahoma, Forde says this is the best final four we’ve seen in the six-year history of the Playoff.
