As of today, West Virginia's roster will feature five newcomers next season, all of which come from the transfer portal - Jose Perez (Manhattan), Omar Silverio (Manhattan), Kerr Kriisa (Arizona), Jesse Edwards (Syracuse), and RaeQuan Battle (Montana State).

That being said, WVU isn't done putting together next year's roster. They've been in contact with a few other transfers but have also made serious progress with 2023 forward, Osiris Grady (6'8", 210 lbs) of Mount Pleasant, Utah.

Late Tuesday night Grady announced his top four schools which consist of Southern Miss, Texas Tech, Utah Valley, and West Virginia.

If Grady were to choose the Mountaineers, he would be the only high school recruit for West Virginia this cycle. WVU has used this offseason to attack the portal hard and establish strong relationships with high school recruits in the classes of 2025 and 2026.
