Froome, Nibali head powerful 6-day Tour of Romandie lineup

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) The past two Tour de France champions head a powerful lineup for the six-day Tour de Romandie.
Race organizers say two-time defending champion Chris Froome and Vincenzo Nibali have been included in a provisional lineup announced Friday for the April 28-May 3 event.
The expected field includes Nairo Quintana of Colombia, who was runner-up to Froome in the 2013 Tour de France and won the 2014 Giro d'Italia.
Jean-Christophe Peraud and Thibaut Pinot, the French riders who made the 2014 Tour podium behind Nibali, are also entered.
The Romandie race, through French-speaking regions of Switzerland, starts with a team time trial and ends with an individual time trial into Lausanne.
The main mountain stage is on the fifth day.
