Mets writer notes team hasn't balked all year, pitcher promptly balks

For writers covering teams out of playoff contention, it can be difficult to find interesting stories late in the season. But Anthony DiComo, the Mets' beat writer for MLB.com, found a cool nugget, wrote a quick story on it and shared the link in the fifth inning of Thursday's game.

Note the time stamps. Mets pitcher Dillon Gee balked a mere two minutes after DiComo's initial tweet.
DiComo figured it was worth a shot to try jinxing some other things.
