I usually don't believe in the SI cover jinx but it seems to have all gone downhill for Steve Nash after this 2012-13 NBA Preview Cover appearance with Dwight Howardin which the headline read,"Now this is going to be fun." Sadly, Nash's tenure in L.A. has been anything but fun and got even sadder yesterday when he announced that he won't play at all this season due to a bad back and will likely retire. Here's a look back at Nash's life in photos, including his days as a pint-sized soccer player and grocery shopping with Grant Hill.

Two Angry Men

The Broncos defeated the Chargers last night, 35-21, and it didn't appear as if Peyton Manning or Philip Rivers enjoyed themselves. Manning called out the Denver scoreboard operator after the game while Rivers didn't seem happy with the Chargers' play calling. It wasn't a good night for former referee Mike Carey, who was brought in by CBS to explain the rules to viewers but botched one of the game's biggest plays. It was a good night for Broncos receiver Emmanuel Sanders, who scored three touchdowns, andTony Romo, whose last name has replaced "Omaha" as Manning's go-to audible at the line of scrimmage.

Hot Clicks Q&A: Chris Jericho

If you missed it earlier this week, I spoke with pro wrestler/rock star Chris Jericho and asked him about some random bands (R.E.M., Phish, Pearl Jam) and wrestlers (Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper, Ralphus).

Lovely Lady of the Day

Chrissy Teigen is taking a break from Twitter and taking her talents to Instagram. This seems like a good excuse to make her today's LLOD (click here for full-size gallery).

Be A Good Person Friday

About a month ago, I started a new feature called "Be A Good Person Friday," in which I spotlight a charity or organization doing good in the world. I received several emails by readers suggesting future charities and one that stuck out came from Michael in Chicago, who wrote, "Love Hot Clicks, and was pleasantly surprised to see what you’re doing on a weekly basis.  I would love to nominate a charity that is near and dear to my heart.  When my son Brayden was born in 2010, with a congenital heart defect, we started A Giving Heart Foundation to help advance research and help families like ours get through the tough times.  Please check out our website at www.agivingheartfoundation.org."

I realize money is tight for most of you (myself very much included) but if you had even $5 or $10 to give, it would make a huge difference. At the very least, please check out the website and see what it's all about. And if you have a charity of your own that I should spotlight, please email andy_gray@simail.com and let me know. I'll do my best to get to them all.

The Sabonis Bunch

If you like this photo, I recommend checking out our longform piece on Gonzaga's recruitment of Domantas Sabonis and how it compared with the recruitment of his father, Arvydas Sabonis, to LSU nearly three decades earlier.
