Carmelo Anthony's day job begins in earnest on Wednesday night when the New York Knicks take on the Chicago Bulls for the team's regular season opener, but the forward showed how he spent part of his offseason last night with a surprise cameo on the FX series Sons of Anarchy.

Carmelo Anthony's day job begins in earnest on Wednesday night when the New York Knicks take on the Chicago Bulls for the team's regular season opener, but the forward showed how he spent part of his offseason last night with a surprise cameo on the FX series Sons of Anarchy.

Anthony only had one line in his brief appearance on screen, but he made quite an impact by providing a knife used to cut off another character's fingers.

Anthony has shown interest in acting before, appearing on Showtime's Nurse Jackie in addition to an appearance alongside Chris Bosh on Law & Order: SVU.
