The Kansas City Royals are changing the bobblehead game

This season the Royals will give away four commemorative bobbleheads that will take fans back to the team's amazing run to the World Series in 2014. The bobbleheads will depict players recreating the signature moments of last season's playoffs, rather than the traditional poses.

Bobbleheads have been a staple of Major League Baseball giveaways for years now, however they've all been about the same; a simple bust of a player standing upright with the head, well...bobbing. Basically, they're all the same. As the years have gone on, they've lost some their luster.

Well, the American League Champion Kansas City Royals are here to return the prestige of the bobblehead.

This season the Royals will give away four commemorative bobbleheads that will take fans back to the team's amazing run to the World Series in 2014. The bobbleheads will depict players recreating the signature moments of last season's playoffs, rather than the traditional poses.

• Pablo Sandoval makes half court shot while sitting down

First, we have an incredible diving catch from outfielder Lorenzo Cain.

Next, we have that amazing Mike Moustakas catch from the ALCS last season.

Then, Salvador Perez celebrating the game-winning hit in the Wild Card.

And finally, Yordano Ventura tossing off the mound in the playoffs.

It's hard to believe that it took a team this long to come up with this concept, but it's awesome now that it's here.

• Report: Yoan Moncada could be free agent within 2 weeks
