Hockey City Classic pucks get Michigan's name wrong
Pucks for the Hockey City Classic accidentally read "Michigan University" instead of "University of Michigan.
Between weather concerns and mislabeled pucks, Saturday's Hockey City Classic at got off to a rough start.
Warm weather made for poor ice conditions at Soldier Field in Chicago that pushed the Michigan vs. Michigan State nightcap of the doubleheader from 8 to 9:40 p.m. ET.
The pucks also were labeled "Michigan University" instead of "University of Michigan.
Perhaps a Spartans or Ohio State Buckeyes fan was responsible.

The poor weather also delayed the opener between Western Michigan and Miami University, pushing puck drop from 4 to 5:40 p.m.
