In the clip, Walton calls his friend and fellow Basketball Hall of Famer James Worthy and leaves an alternately funny and heartwarming message, interspersing well wishes for the former Laker with singing "Happy Birthday."
Walton and Worthy were never teammates in their storied NCAA and NBA careers, but they did face off as competitors in the 1986 and 1987 Finals between the Celtics and Lakers.
