The third-year point guard was six credits shy of a degree in technical sales from Weber State when he was drafted, but he promised his mother he would complete his studies, and found the time to finish during the off-season, according to the Weber State Signpost.

"I had to take some tests and test out of some classes. I was kind of nervous because I hadn't been in school for so long," Lillard said, adding that he "knocked all of it out and finally got done."

Lillard is planning to get his degree on May 1, and says he will hold off on any post-graduate studies until after his basketball career has finished.
