Draymond Green's website stops selling 'Cool Story Glenn' shirts
Draymond Green is no longer selling T-shirts with the phrase "Cool Story, Glenn" on them for fear it would be misinterpreted by others as disrespectful to Clippers coach Doc Rivers.
• David Beckham stars in funny underwear commercial on 'The Late Late Show'
The phrase originated as part of a back and forth between the Warriors forward and the Clippers after Dahntay Jones intentionally bumped Green following a game between the teams earlier in March.
Jones was fined $10,000 for the incident and Rivers joked that he was sorry that Green was bumped "too hard." When Green found out about the opposing coach's comments, he said "Cool Story, Glenn," referring to Rivers' seldom used first name, and a meme was born.
• Mr. March Tom Izzo T-shirts available for purchase
The shirts were up for sale for a short time and Rivers himself told the Los Angeles Times he found it funny, and joked that he should get a share of the profits, but Green has still stopped the sale of the items.
