Watch: Texas hypes spring game with Game of Thrones-style video

Texas releases Game of Thrones-themed hype video for annual spring game.

Texas' annual Orange-White spring game is coming up, and the team released a hype video for it that is heavily influenced by the popular TV show Game of Thrones. 

In the video, the Longhorns and coach Charlie Strong give their own oath of fealty while combining classic moments from Texas teams past and present.

Texas' spring game will be held on April 18. That's just six days after the premiere of Game of Thrones Season 5 airs, so it's pretty smart marketing to combine the two.

It seems there's been a lot of smart marketing in Austin lately, right down to the T-shirts now that Shaka Smart is in town.
