Timberwolves Finally Win Something

The NBA helds its annual Draft Lottery Tuesday and Minnesota scored the No. 1 pick, then celebrated like a bunch of teenagers who just discovered a naked Kate Upton photo. Knicks fans, meanwhile, were not pleased when the team landed the No. 4 pick instead of No. 2 (where they were statistically projected to pick). The Lakers scored the No. 2 pick but Kobe Bryant chose to attend Dancing With the Stars in person rather then watch from home (though he did have one of the night's best tweets). It was also a big night for fashion as Russell Westbrook and Nerlens Noel turned heads but it didn't help their teams land the top spot. Here's a very early mock draft and the latest news and rumors from around the league.
Riley Curry Wins Game 1
Actually, the Warriors held off the Rockets 110-106 to take a 1-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals. But all anyone is talking about is Stephen Curry's young daughter Riley, who told her dad to "be quiet" during his postgame press conference. It's good to see Curry smiling after the Rockets dissed him by bringing their last man on the bench to the pregame captains's meeting. Curry responded with 34 points and one halftime buzzer-beater. Also of note: Draymond Green got vocal after taking a first-half charge on Dwight Howard; Trevor Ariza may or may not have given Green a cheap shot (decide for yourself) and Rockets fans are hoping an injured Howard returns for Game 2.
Poor Tom Bradby
It's been a rough few weeks for Tom Brady and an even tougher few weeks forTom Bradby. The British political reporter has been lambasted on Twitter by people who are confusing him with the Patriots quarterback. Reminds me of the abuse I took when my man Andy Gray got the ax for "unacceptable and offensive behaviour".

For the Pro Wrestling Fans
We had a great interview with Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson, during which he discussed playing for Ed Orgeron at Miami, the close friendship he shares with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and his advice to Roman Reigns. I also stumbled upon this great website—Pro Wrestling Stories—which is full of behind-the-scenes anecdotes and a good way to lose 30 minutes of your life.
