Lil B says the Based God Curse on James Harden 'can't be fake'
James Harden and the Rockets are down 3–0 in the Western Conference finals and there's a man in the Bay Area who says he's responsible. No, not Stephen Curry. Rapper Lil B (aka The Based God) claims to have put the dreaded Based God Curse on Harden.
Lil B is upset that Harden's signature celebration is similar to a dance he helped popularize, so he put the curse on Harden before Game 2 of the series against the Warriors.
Harden played well that night but he looked off in Game 3, hitting just three of 16 shots from the floor. If you ask Lil B, who also takes credit for Kevin Durant's foot injury, the Curse is the only explanation. It has to be real.
“We wouldn't be talking if it wasn't. It can’t be fake,” he told Marcus Thompson of the San Jose Mercury News. “You see what happened to KD. He was doing great before messing with me.”

And Lil B refuses to relent.
“[Harden]'s cursed for the rest of the playoffs and further notice until he speaks on what dance celebration he's doing and where it comes from,” he told TMZ.
At least one NBA team is buying into the power of the Based God Curse. The Hawks attempted to get in Lil B's good graces with a plea on Twitter.
Beating the Warriors is hard enough, but now their opponents have to deal with the curse, too.
