Indians' Terry Francona ate 17 popsicles in one night

Move over Wade Boggs, Terry Francona is coming for your title as MLB's king of mass consumption.

The Indians manager recently told reporters about a late night popsicle eating binge he went on, and it is both impressive and depressing.

It seems Francona got his hand on quite a few boxes of frozen fruit treats and just could not help himself. The manager paid a severe price though, as he told the media he woke up in the middle of the night repeating the mantra, "Don't throw up, don't throw up, don't throw up," according to MLB.com's August Fagerstrom.

In the harsh light of morning, Francona took an accounting of the damage he had done and found 17 popsicle sticks, which is a total that even the the most sweet-toothed toddler would find excessive.
