Fake ‘N. Korea World Cup delegate’ showers Sepp Blatter with money

FIFA president Sepp Blatter was set to give a press conference on Monday morning announcing that a special election to find his replacement would be held in February of next year, but a prankster used the event to remind everyone of the leader's alleged corruption.

FIFA president Sepp Blatter was set to give a press conference on Monday morning announcing that a special election to find his replacement would be held in February of next year, but a prankster used the event to remind everyone of the leader's alleged corruption.

As Blatter approached the podium, English comedian Simon Brodkin rushed the stage, announcing himself as the “North Korean World Cup delegate,” and he threw a pile of money at the five-term FIFA president.

While many soccer fans found the stunt to be entertaining, Blatter did not, storming off the stage and insisting the money be taken away before he spoke to the assembled press.
