Glen Davis stopped by SI Now on Monday to talk about all things NBA, including his former teammates Matt Barnes recent social media run-in with pop superstar Rihanna.

Davis told host Maggie Gray that the singer was too harsh in shooting down Barnes’s insinuation that he may be dating Rihanna in a recent interview with TMZ.

Big Baby even made a case for Rihanna to give Barnes a chance, pointing out that he has the tattooed bad boy look down.

In addition to trying to make a celebrity love connection, Davis talked about tasting champagne for the first time in the locker room after winning the NBA Finals with the Celtics in 2011.
