Tyson Chandler’s bathtub was Justin Bieber’s baptismal font
Justin Bieber is the subject of an article in the latest issue of GQ magazine, and within we learn that the “Sorry” singer had a crisis of faith that was solved, in part, by Tyson Chandler.
According to Complex, Hillsong Church pastor Carl Lentz, who caters to many celebrities, was working with Bieber when the pop star decided he wanted to be baptized, but due to swarms of paparazzi at Lentz’s preferred locales for the ritual they had to resort to more creative measures.

The pastor called up his friend Chandler, who was then a member of the Knicks, to use his building’s pool, but since it was 2 a.m. the pool was closed, leading Bieber to be baptized in the center‘s tub.
Being a celebrity is very weird.
