Punk (aka Phil Brooks) signed with the world’s top MMA outfit back in December of 2014 after becoming disillusioned with his career in the WWE. Although interest in the former pro wrestling champion’s debut has remained high, no details have emerged on his first fight.

The video game version of Punk will be ready to enter the ring by spring of 2016 when the game is scheduled to be released with cover athletes Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey.

Punk’s trainer Duke Roufus said in October that he expects the UFC to make a fight for the 37-year-old rookie “in the next six to 10 months,” according to ESPN.
