This made fellow corner infielder Anthony Rizzo and the other half of the “Bryzzo” portmanteau have to deal with some complicated emotions.

Luckily, Cubs fans were quick to suggest a new slugging partner for their first baseman in another hot hitting youngster, Kyle Schwarber.

Rizzo and Schwarber took notice and wasted no time in giving the new pairing their seal of approval.

Even though he just got engaged, it must sting Bryant a little bit to see Rizzo move on to someone new so quickly.
