Federer pulled out the comically oversized gear for a kickoff event for the Brisbane International, where he also paired up with some television superstars in the form of SpongeBob Squarepants, his friend Patrick, noted world traveler Dora the Explorer and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, whom he took on with fellow pros Viktoria Azarenka, Radek Stepanek and Garbine Muguruza.

After the Brisbane event Federer will head to the year’s first Grand Slam event, the Australian Open.
