Barry Bonds beat the Marlins in a spring training home run derby


(Update: Bonds is involved in yet another home run controversy. Yelich and Stanton say he didn’t win.)
Barry Bonds is back in baseball this year, serving as the hitting coach for the Marlins, and he is showing everyone that he still has plenty of gas left in the tank from his legendary playing career.
On Wednesday afternoon MLB’s home run king took on some Marlins players in a home run contest, and beat them all, including Miami’s superstar slugger Giancarlo Stanton.

Unfortunately a phone malfunction cost us all the chance to see Bonds returning to homer smashing glory.

Still, if you close your eyes tight enough you can also see the outlines of Bonds and Stanton going swing for swing as they smash moon shots into the Florida sky.
