Minor league team giving away Shooter McGavin bobblehead

Shooter McGavin bobbleheads are coming to an Orioles minor league affiliate.

The Orioles’ Advanced-A affiliate has a wonderful giveaway lined up this summer for those of you who are fans of the Adam Sandler classic Happy Gilmore: a bobblehead of golfing great Shooter McGavin.

The Frederick Keys will hand out the the figurines to the first 1,000 people through the gates at the June 18 game against the Lynchburg Hillcats.

Christopher McDonald, who played Shooter in the film, will be in attendance as part of Happy Gilmore Night. I think we can all agree that the real winner here is the city of Fredrick.
