A group of New England Patriots fans are suing the NFL to recover the draft picks the team lost as part of the NFL’s punishment over the Deflategate scandal, reports NESN.
Named in the lawsuit are the NFL, commissioner Roger Goodell, and even Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who the fans are saying didn’t do enough to keep the team’s draft picks.
The lawsuit is accusing the NFL of breach of contract, fraud, and perhaps most ridiculously, intentional infliction of emotional distress.

“Plaintiffs have dealt with embarrassment, ridicule and depression due to the rest of the country who is jealous of the Patriots ‘piling on’ and criticizing the Patriots and their fans for being ‘cheaters,‘” the lawsuit reads, according to NESN.
This seems like not at all a waste of time.
