During Game 1 of the Sharks series with the Predators a black kitten found its way onto the ice, which, in addition to being extremely improbable, would seem to portend bad things to come for San Jose.

The cat appears to have been good luck for the team though as it has not lost a home game since, with a deciding Game 7 set for the SAP center on Thursday night.

The cat, which was later caught and taken to a Humane Society, now has a new name, Jo Paw-Velski, a Twitter account and a 24/7 dedicated webcam, which you would be wise to take a look at, as the cat is adorable.

CBS Sports reports that Sharks fans have lined up for a chance to adopt the kitten, but the shelter is first trying to find out if the hockey-loving feline already has a concerned owner looking for its missing cat.
