The casting of the new Ghostbusters movie has caused the internet to do quite a bit of hand wringing, but a new pair of commercials puts some truly unlikely characters in the iconic khaki jumpsuits and proton packs.
In the ad, which aired during Thursday night’s Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis are joined by Spike Lee and Clyde Frazier as they try to banish some evil spirits from Madison Square Garden.
On the other coast, Kobe Bryant suits up and hops in his Ghost-chopper to fix some paranormal disturbances at the Staples Center, and in true Kobe style he does it without any partners.
Granted, the original Ghostbusters film featured comedic actors, and not NBA players and a movie director, in the titular roles, so we apologize if this clip ruined your childhood.
