Juan Uribe: I don’t wear a cup because there’s not one in my size
On Sunday, Indians third baseman Juan Uribe was carted off because he took a Mike Trout ground ball at 106 mph off the bat right to the family jewels. He suffered (yes, suffered—style here is to say “sustained” but he most definitely suffered) a testicular contusion because he wasn’t wearing a cup at the time of the incident.

You’d think, perhaps, Uribe goes without a cup because he’s supremely confident in his ability to field groundballs. Well, it turns out that he would wear one, if they made one in his size. Yes, seriously.
STO’s Andre Knott has the scoop.
All right, then, Juan. You might want to find out how you can protect the Little Juans in the future.
