WATCH: Dude makes epic world record 593-foot basketball shot

Watch trick shot YouTubers break the world record for highest basketball shot.

In case you haven't been on the Internet in a while, basketball trick shots are fun and a pretty big thing right now.

One video, however, takes the art of the trick shot (literally) to new heights.

A group of Australian YouTubers known as "How Ridiculous" made a Guinness World Record 593-foot basketball shot off the top of Mauvoisin Dam in Switzerland, breaking the previous record of 533 feet set earlier this year.

You can watch the entire video below, with the actual shot coming at the 2:16 mark.

The best part? It apparently took Derek Herron of "How Ridiculous" only three attempts to make the shot.
