Logan Sargeant On Working With Alex Albon - "Drivers Keep To Themselves"
American driver Logan Sargeant is about to embark on his rookie F1 season with the Williams team. Speaking at the Bahrain Grand Prix drivers' press conference, Sargeant discussed his relationship with the British team and his new teammate Alex Albon.
Sargeant explained that it was all going well with the team so far. When asked if Albon was giving the rookie any advice, Sargeant responded:
"[You know how] drivers are, they keep a little bit to themselves.
"But no, I think he's probably the most open and honest teammate I've ever had, super nice to work with.
"Obviously, a lot of experience and super quick. So it's also a really good reference for me.
The Williams driver went on to add that working within the team is a "healthy environment" with everyone "working towards the same goal". He continued:
"Within the team, I feel like it's such a healthy environment. Everyone's working towards the same goal. I feel like I'm part of the family after the past year and a half."
Joining Sargeant on their rookie F1 season are Australian driver Oscar Piastri who will be racing for McLaren and Dutch driver Nyck de Vries who is driving alongside Yuki Tsunoda for AlphaTauri.
The Bahrain Grand Prix free practice sessions will begin tomorrow ahead of the race on Sunday.
