Max Verstappen Takes First Pole Position Of 2023 Season For Bahrain Grand Prix
Max Verstappen has taken the first pole position of the 2023 season in the Red Bull RB19 with a time of 1:29.708.
Excitement has been ramping up for the start of the 2023 season after the winter break and with a resurgence in performance for Aston Martin, shaking things up at the front of the grid.
It has been an exciting start to the Bahrain Grand Prix race weekend with Sergio Perez at the top of the time sheet during Free Practice 1 in the Red Bull RB19 and Fernando Alonso putting in the fastest laps in Free Practice 2 and 3.
All eyes are on Max Verstappen who will be trying to race for to defend the title and bag his third consecutive championship win. It is now expected that there will be four teams fighting it out for the top spot - Red Bull, Ferrari, Mercedes, and Aston Martin.
