When Matt Mooretore his ulnar collateral ligament in just his second start of the season, requiring Tommy John surgery, it foreshadowed darker days ahead for the Rays. Luckily, there have been no more serious injuries to this point, but this season has fallen far short of expectations for Joe Maddon's club.

Sitting 9.5 games out of first in the AL East, the organization has to decide whether or not to trade its ace, David Price. The 2012 Cy Young award winner is 9-7 this season.
