Report: Minnesota Twins 'open' to trading Kendrys Morales
The Minnesota Twins are "open" to trading veteran Kendrys Morales, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.
The Twins signed Morales in June to be their DH after he declined a qualifying offer from Seattle in the offseason. Any team that would have signed him prior to the MLB draft would have lost a draft pick.
Morales is batting .237 with one home run, 18 RBIs and an OPS of .599. The 31-year-old was on a 12-game hitting streak entering Wednesday.
Rosenthal also reported that the Twins could move leftfielder Josh Willingham, pitcher Kevin Correia and catcher Kurt Suzuki as well.
