Remembering Chicago Cubs great Ernie Banks

Chicago Cubs great and ambassador to baseball Ernie Banks passed away on Friday at the age of 83. Banks spent his entire 19-year career with Chicago, earning two NL MVP awards and 14 All-Star Game appearances.
Though Banks never made it to the postseason, his contributions to the game and the people who love it are lasting, and on Friday night a number of Chicago figures and notable people from throughout the sports world took to twitter to remember the inimitable Mr. Cub.
