The Houston Astros clinched a wild-card spot in the American League playoffs with a Texas Rangers win over the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday.

The Rangers won the AL West, while the Astros took a wild-card spot and will face the New York Yankees on Tuesday. The Astros were guaranteed at least a Game 163 after Saturday’s results, but it was unclear if they would be in a tiebreaker or playoff game.

Tuesday’s game between the Astros and Yankees will be played in New York, because the Yankees finished one game ahead of the Astros in the final standings.

The MLB playoffs begin Tuesday with the wild-card round. The divisional series will begin Thursday.
