New York Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon is facing a lawsuit after allegedly failing to pay child support, reportsTheNew York Post’s Julia Marsh.

Colon, who has been married for 21 years, was taken to court by Alexandra Santos, who is not his wife, regarding his alleged failure to pay child support for their two young children. The pitcher earns $7 million annually under his contract with the Mets.

Colon, 42, is the father of four sons with his wife Rosanna, as well as the father of a seven-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son with Santos.

“I can’t talk about that,” Colon’s wife, who acknowledged that she knew about her husband’s other children, told the Post over the phone. “This is personal and not something I want to talk about.”

Colon is 3–2 this season with a 3.53 ERA and 36 strikeouts. He is in his 19th MLB season.
