Kris Bryant’s two-run homer ties NLDS Game 3 in the ninth
After Conor Gillaspie appeared to win it for the Giants, Kris Bryant brought the Cubs back.
Kris Bryant tied NLDS Game 3 at 5–5 with a two-run home run in the ninth off Giants closer Sergio Romo.
Just moments earlier, San Francisco third baseman Conor Gillaspie gave the Giants a 4–3 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning with a two-run triple off Aroldis Chapman. Brandon Crawford would later add a single to make it 5–3.
Bryant’s shot came on an 0–1 slider, and just narrowly snuck over the leftfield wall, hitting the top of it.
The Cubs have a 2–0 lead in the series, and can move on to the NLCS with a win.
