The Houston Rockets plan to re-sign shooting guard Francisco Garcia but have yet to reach an agreement on a deal, according to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.

Garcia, 32, posted averages of 5.7 points and 2.2 rebounds over 55 games last season with the Rockets. Houston acquired Garcia in a February 2013 trade with Sacramento.

He earned $1.3 million in 2013-14.

A first-round pick out of Louisville in the 2005 draft, the eight-year veteran has averaged eight points per game over his career.

The Rockets, who lost Chandler Parsons and added Trevor Ariza in free agency this summer, went 54-28 last season before losing to the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the playoffs.
