Report: Warriors, general manager Bob Myers agree to 3-year extension

The Warriors and general manager Bob Myers have reportedly agreed to a three-year contract extension.

Golden State Warriors and general manager Bob Myers have agreed to a three-year extension that will keep him under contract through the 2017-18 season, reports Tim Kawakami of San Jose Mercury News.

Myers' contract with the team was set to expire at the end of the 2014-15 season.

Myers, 39, has been with Golden State since April 2012 after replacing Larry Riley as GM. 

Before arriving in Golden State, Myers was a sports agent at the Wasserman Media Group. According to the report, the team is also discussing an extension with executive board member Jerry West, whose deal will end next summer.
