Report: Hawks have talked to Ray Allen's representatives
The Atlanta Hawks have had talks with Ray Allen's representatives, according to a report from Chris Vivlamore of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Vivlamore notes that "nothing is imminent."
Allen has not played this season after spending the previous two seasons with the Miami Heat.
In 2013-14, he averaged 9.6 points while shooting 44.2 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from three-point range in 26.5 minutes per game.
Over 19 seasons in the league, the 39-year old has averaged 18.9 points. He is the NBA's all-time leader in three-point field goals made.
Other teams have reportedly expressed interest in Allen.
Atlanta, which leads the NBA in three-point field goal percentage (39.1), beat the Golden State Warriors on Friday to move to 42-9, the best record in the league.
