Hornets C Al Jefferson does not plan to opt out of contract
Hornets center Al Jefferson does not plan to opt out of his current contract with the team, he told reporters on Thursday.
In July 2013, Jefferson signed a three-year contract worth $40.5 million, with a player option for the final year. Jefferson could exercise that option this off-season and become a free agent.
