Jordan Brand's first-ever golf shoe derived from Mike’s love of links
Jordan Brand has taken the Jumpman from the hardwood to the links with its first-ever golf shoe.
With Michael Jordan’s love of golf well known, the Nike subsidiary took a key Jordan training shoe—the Jordan Flight Runner 2—and transformed it into a limited-edition golf shoe.
Jordan Brand used the silhouette of the Jordan Flight Runner 2 and worked with Nike Golf to add in Nike Free-inspired design in the development of the golf offering.

The resulting Jordan Flight Runner Golf shoe features mesh and synthetic materials with Nike Flywire on the upper. The midsole contains a “forefoot moderation plate that stabilizes the foot when twisting,” according to press materials. Using Free-inspired design on the outsole with TRI-LOK soft spikes rounds out the construction.
The shoe will release this month in black and grey, but expect more in the world of Jordan golf to come.
