The Philadelphia 76ers have signed second-round draft pick J.P. Tokoto to a one-year deal worth $520,000, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Tokoto was drafted by Philadelphia with the 58th overall pick out of North Carolina.
Tokoto, 21, is likely to split time between Philadelphia and the Delaware 87ers of the NBA D-League. Tokoto was a part of the Sixers' summer league squads that played in Las Vegas and Utah.
As a junior, Tokoto won All-Atlantic Coast Conference first-team defense honors before declaring for the NBA Draft and foregoing his final year of eligibility.
